Street Fighting Man
"The Bengsons, a musical professional of the old school genre, along with his flawless band 'The Sugarcanes', hits the stage right on cue, power driving through 3-4 songs without taking much of a breath. The personification of what 'the show must go on' credo is all about, it's The Bengsons with no non-sense ballads of poignant country-folk-hill-billy, rock, blues, pop, whatever it is. He is our street fighting man of music. Excellent musicianship, incredible vocals; an array of melodies, themes, and funny asides. Banter with the audience, more touching, melting lyrics to display his range of brooding thoughtfulness. The Bengsons and his band came prepared to deliver their audiences everything they had and then some. Cutting short his show, a severe lightning storm interrupted only during the encore. What we got for what we paid for, we certainly had. The Bengsons apologized, wanting to give more. Only this mad man of music - the Gods could stop."
